The Importance of Being Earnest

February 10, 11, & 12, 2022

Congratulations to all the cast and crew of the second of our two Junior-Senior in the round shows, The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by Emma Van Dyke.

This classic British satire skewers both the upper and lower class of late 1800's society poking fun at such esteemed institutions as love, marriage, religion, laws, education, and the rail system. Presented in the round, the hilarity of these characters lays plain as the struggle to move and adapt to their ever growing confusion over the importance of being earnest. This production enjoyed multiple sell out nights.

The Tin Woman

January 27, 28, & 29, 2022

Congratulations to all the cast and crew of the first of our two Junior-Senior in the round shows, The Tine Woman, directed by Litzy Flores-Paloma. We are thrilled to have the annual tradition of our junior-seniors in the round shows back after not being able to stage them last year. This complex staging method, incorporating a 360 degree audience with all of the actors in the center, has become a hallmark of our program over the past few years and we our proud to continue having them be 100% student produced and student directed.

This beautiful piece was a complex look at life and loss and the coping of a young woman who meets the family of the man who donated her heart and her coming to terms with the continuation of her life at the expense of his. This production enjoyed multiple sell out nights.
